Pursuing truth and not traditions... “Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.” –1 Timothy 4:16

I am the wife of my best friend, Jason. "I am a Calvinist, and a lover of that grand man’s memory and doctrine; but I believe nothing merely because Calvin taught it, but because I have found his teaching in the Word of God" (CH Spurgeon). I am part of a great body of believers who recognize the sovereignty and supremacy of God, and who's desire is to have Christ's name exalted throughout the nations. My mission statement would follow that of John Piper's (well, really Paul's): I exist to spread a passion for the supremacy of God, in all things, for the joy of all peoples, through Christ Jesus.

That's a pretty good reason.

Indeed. That is a really good reason. Congratulations. May the Lord bless your marriage.

I am invited to your wedding, correct? I have always wanted to visit Oregon, but seriously, I expect to be on your invitation list.

Congratulations... wow... I never knew anything about any of this. That was surprising! You guys should move to California once you're married; it's extremely practical living (NOT). Keep us all updated!!!

Hi. Oh, congratulations...though I don't know you and you don't know me... Maybe that's a little awkward to get a congrats from a stranger...don't know protocol on that one...
But I just found your site and I wanted to say I like it! I was surprised how many similarities we had between our "blog profiles" :) that's always kind of fun.
And I'm from Minneapolis--I go to Bethlehem Baptist (John Piper's church)
So anyway, i just wanted to say hi.
And uh, congrats. :)

It's a bummer that you don't blog anymore. I'm sure things are busy and all, however I hope things are going well!

I knew you were born in Yorba Linda. I specifically had my blog friend in mind when I posted that blog entry.

So, what's new? No postings of pictures from the wedding? I hope everything is well.

Hey... you still alive out there? Married and with kids yet?

Let us know how you are. I'm not sure if you even still read your blog, but I don't think I ever had your email. Anyway, I hope this gets to you. I'm curious as to how you're doing. :)
