Is There Anybody Out There?

Sometimes while I'm driving
Trying to find my song
Looking for the answers
And where I do belong
Finally the children are
Bringin' me back home

Ooooooooh Ooooooooh Ooooooooh
Is there anybody out there
Does anybody care
Are the people really there
Ooooooooh Ooooooooh Ooooooooh
Is there anybody seeking
Does anybody see
Or are they deaf and dumb like me

Sometimes when I'm drivin'
Lookin' for my song
Lookin' for the answers
And where I do belong
Finally the children are
Bringin' me back home

Ooooooooh Ooooooooh Ooooooooh
Is there anybody out there
Does anybody care
Are the people really there
Ooooooooh Ooooooooh Ooooooooh
Is there anybody seeking
Does anybody see
Or are they deaf and dumb like me

Sometimes when I'm drivin'
Still lookin' for my song
Lookin' for the answers
And where I do belong
Finally sweet Jesus is
Bringin' me back home

Ooooooooh Ooooooooh Ooooooooh
Is there anybody out there
Does anybody care
Are the people really there
Ooooooooh Ooooooooh Ooooooooh
Is there anybody seeking
Does anybody see
Or are they deaf and dumb like me

Ooooooooh Ooooooooh Ooooooooh
Is there anybody out there
Does anybody care
Are the people really there
Ooooooooh Ooooooooh Ooooooooh
Is there anybody seeking
Does anybody see
That he died upon a tree

I think it would be better if the Ooohs had seven Os instead of eight Os, but that is just me.

Somebody should tell them that they need to record a worship album. It would be awesome!

A Pink Flyod worship album? That would be sweet!

I like the Oooooh thing... Julianne, I'm reading a millenial book right now, but I'm not quite sure where I stand on the three views (the book we are reading is not very well organized). You should do a post on the millenium. Are you pre, post, A-mill??? That would be exciting. : ) (by the way, I had to break my pact to not get online because I had to look up tickets for a basketball game; so, anyway, thought I'd leave a little ol' comment for you... see you around!)

I love burlap to cashmere, did they ever have more than one cd?

Jason searched and I guess they have a LIVE cd, however, it's just the same songs...

Adam: She should be pre-millenial. :)

Okay, Julianne, I'll post something new, since everyone seemed to have cajoled me into doing so.

This group sounds a bit like Scarecrow and Tinmen. Has anyone heard that band?

In-case you haven't noticed, Piper is going to be in Phoenix, AZ for his next DG Regional Conf. AND he's going to be at the next Resolved.

I'm stoked.

Yes Frank, Rick Holland made an announcement at this year's Resolved Conference that John Piper has agreed to speak at the 2007 Resolved Conference.

Hey... We should all do something after church on Sunday... If you aren't busy!! Like we should all go to lunch or bowling or something... I haven't hung out with anyone in a while... Anyway let me know what you think!

Scarecrow and Tinman, I have a cd of there's, but it has been years since I listened to it. I don't remember it sounding like Burlap to Cashmere though, but they were good.
